What happens when you read our site

Our server receives the usual technical information your browser sends — IP address, user-agent, the page you requested, the time of the request. We retain this for thirty days and then delete it. It is used for running the site and detecting abuse; it is not used for anything else, and it is not shared with any third party.

What happens when you write to us

If you use the contact form or write to us directly, we collect the name, email, and message you send. We use them to reply. Correspondence is retained for up to twenty-four months. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list.

The Stellarterm Sessions — a note

If you are a musician who has recorded for the Stellarterm Sessions or who is in discussion with us about a future session, the personal data we hold about you (name, contact information, basic biographical details relevant to the session) is covered by the terms of our standard Stellarterm agreement and is processed on the basis of that agreement. Questions about that material specifically should be raised with the editor you have been in contact with.

Cookies and local storage

We set a single local-storage record (ftr_consent) that remembers whether you have accepted or declined our use of anonymous analytics. With your consent, we collect aggregate readership statistics using a privacy-respecting analytics tool. See our cookie policy for the full list. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

Where the data is stored

Our server is hosted in the United States. Visitors from other countries have their technical access data briefly transferred to US infrastructure. Our hosting provider implements industry-standard data-protection practices.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to object to our processing of it. Write to editor@fattuesdayrecords.com. Readers in the EEA, UK, and other jurisdictions with applicable data-protection frameworks retain all statutory rights under the laws of those jurisdictions.

Children

Our writing is directed at an adult readership. We do not knowingly collect data from children under thirteen and we do not target them.
